I was sitting in a strange garden by the Plaza Hotel (strange meaning there were no tourists around and it looked like it was 1900) and I was wearing my prom dress. I figured out that I was dressed up fancy because my friend Will (from Oberlin) was getting married and I was supposed to be some member of the wedding party; I’m not sure what. I saw a bunch of Obies (mostly members of my class) dressed up fancily going into the wedding; I remember seeing Leah wearing a red dress and huge red hat, and she was with a boy from my Japanese class who was wearing very convincing drag.

Later in the dream, they played Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” at the reception. I hadn’t listened to that song in a while, and there was a section of the song that stuck in my head and I was wondering why I hadn’t noticed it before.

I woke up, listened to the song, and that section did not exist. Another musical dream!
